- Beware of the ESP using TCP/IP DUN in Windows 95. The ESP works fine as a 16550
- UART (Windows 95 driver), but using the drivers Hayes put out for Windows 95
- causes problems communicating with the stack every so often. The only solution
- was to restart Windows. Even though the ESP port communicating with the modem,
- the TCP/IP stack would lose 'connect' randomly, no overruns were detected. I
- went back and forth 5 times with the same results everytime. Though it sometime
- would 'appear' for a hour being connected, it sometime only took 5 minutes. I
- have not had any problems with this using Windows 95 standard drivers. But I
- believe the the ESP will have it's place with new drivers. When I used the ESP
- driver, I had better system performance, not much, but noticable on a 486/66
- w/32Meg.
